Macdonald Realty’s Start-up Lab has been expressly designed for people like you – the brand new real estate agent in British Columbia. The Start-up Lab group mentorship experience is here!

 

Our 10-week online self-study program is designed to help you build a proactive structure and plan. The course comprises an exciting blend of written materials and videos, and is supplemented by insightful bi-weekly group Zoom sessions with Managing Brokers and Mentors. Instead of being tied to one Mentor, this brings you insights and ideas from an array of highly successful professionals. You won’t feel alone, as you’ll be part of an active group with other new agents from different Macdonald Realty offices, all ready and excited to begin their careers!

How to become a licensed real estate agent in BC

Under the direction of the British Columbia Financial Services Authority (BCFSA), the Real Estate Division of the University of British Columbia (UBC) administers the Real Estate Trading Services Licensing Course. It takes a minimum of 10 weeks to complete all required assignments, plus time for booking/taking the examination. Depending on your schedule, you can complete the course over a longer period at a more leisurely pace.
